The XPRS 115S features Pioneer’s pro audio sound engineering technology to deliver a natural yet deep, low-frequency response that ranges from 40Hz to 160Hz. The 115S also features a Class D 2400w Powersoft amplifier that has Power Factor Correction; this ensures this subwoofer is energy efficient and always reliable, making it ideal for any performance in any environment.
The XPRS115S comes with a slanted baffle enclosure that is housed in a robust 15mm birch plywood cabinet which keeps the high-quality 15-inch low-frequency driver protected and attributes to the delivery of the rich, tight low-frequencies. The subwoofer features four built-in wheels and two integrated handles that take all the hard work out of transporting this sub to and from gigs.
Found on the rear of the 115S is a versatile frequency crossover switch that allows you to adjust the low-pass filter cutoff in stages that range from 80Hz to 150Hz while a phase reversal switch lets you choose positive or negative polarity that prevents multiple subwoofers from canceling each other out. Two balanced XLR/TRS combo sockets allow you to input a couple of devices at the same time while two XLR outputs let you link to other speakers and subwoofers.
